Frequently Asked Questions
Temporary pumping involves installing a system of pumps and piping to divert, transfer, or evacuate water on a construction site on a temporary basis. It is used during watermain work (pipe bypass), for excavation dewatering, or emergency pumping. Durax installs these systems turnkey across Quebec and Ontario.
HDPE is corrosion-resistant, flexible, lightweight, and has a lifespan of over 50 years. Butt fusion joints create a monolithic pipeline with zero leaks. HDPE also resists chemicals and temperature variations, making it ideal for industrial and mining jobsites.
PumpWatch offers two levels of coverage. Remote Mode provides 24/7 remote monitoring via telemetry with SMS and email alerts. Field Mode places a Durax supervisor directly on your jobsite. Either way, your systems never run unmonitored.
Durax serves all of Quebec and Ontario. We work on municipal, industrial, and mining jobsites. For remote projects such as northern mining sites, we offer adapted deployment structures.
