Monitoring Technology
Real-time pump system monitoring. Two coverage modes to fit your needs: 24/7 remote or on-site supervisor.
A temporary pumping system that fails without detection can cause considerable damage within hours: flooded excavations, environmental contamination, damage to existing infrastructure, project delays, and contractual penalties. Continuous monitoring is the only way to ensure your systems operate as intended, 24 hours a day.
PumpWatch is the monitoring service developed by Durax specifically for temporary pumping systems. It offers two complementary levels of coverage, adapted to the criticality and budget of each project.
Remote Mode provides around-the-clock monitoring of your pumping systems with real-time alerts. In case of anomaly — pump shutdown, critical water level, or abnormal condition — the system automatically sends SMS and email alerts to the site crew and the Durax team.
This data is centralized in a dashboard accessible at all times. In case of anomaly — pump failure, overpressure, critical water level, or operational threshold exceeded — the system automatically sends SMS and email alerts to the site crew and the Durax team.
Remote Mode also includes an on-call intervention service: if an anomaly is detected and requires physical intervention, a Durax technician is dispatched to site within the timeframes agreed in the contract.
Field Mode places a Durax supervisor directly on your jobsite for continuous human monitoring. This mode is recommended for critical operations where immediate response time is essential: main pipe bypass, pumping near sensitive waterways, or projects with strict regulatory requirements.
The field supervisor performs regular rounds, checks operational parameters, adjusts flow rates based on changing site conditions, and can intervene immediately if a problem arises. They communicate continuously with the project management team via structured shift reports.
For contractors and municipalities managing multiple jobsites simultaneously, PumpWatch offers a centralized overview of all active pumping systems. From a single dashboard, you can view each site's status, compare performance, and receive consolidated alerts.
Remote Mode is ideal for long-term projects with moderate risk, where automatic alerts and rapid intervention in case of anomaly are sufficient. Field Mode is recommended for short-term critical operations, projects in sensitive environments, or when the contract requires continuous human presence on-site.
